I bought the plans, clement mods, and stanton assembly manual after i sold my tailwind project thinking that i would start another one. I have 3 sheets of 1/16 plywood and 6 sheets of 3/32 4 ft x 8 ft. It has a rajay turbo. Olds v8 powered, inverted and direct drive. It will easily fly at 170 at 3100 i have almost 300. For some reason i have been drawn to the w10 tailwind, but i have a question.

I Think The Differences Are Spar Spacing For The Tailwind Is 25”, 24” For Cougar, Gear, Wittman’s Patent Was In Full Swing, Trim On A Cougar Is Cub Style, Sloppy Ones Known To Flutter.

The tailwind was designed for speed! i just think it is one of the best looking high wing monoplanes you can build, but would prefer to fly something a little slower and in the lsa.
